The Rumble at Fort
Wayne, Indiana-Tyler Strickland set on the pole with a 1st place
finish in heat #1 and a 2nd place finish in heat #2. Prior to the
race someone tampered with the carburetor and luckily Jeff caught
it before the feature. In addition, the kart just wasn't quit the
same after the wreck, Jeff looked over the setup and our right front
heim was also in need of replacement, but we just adjusted best
we could and decided to run the feature that way. At the start of
the feature Tyler said the kart started tightening up and he begain
losing positions. His finish was 5th place. The best lap time, due
to the kart issues from the night before was 9.8 seconds, way off
from the night before. It was dissapointing, but Tyler finished
the race the best he could with the kart he had under him. We enjoyed
racing with all the competitors at the Rumble in Fort Wayne. It
was a good show.

The Runble at Fort
Wayne, Indiana-Tyler Strickland qualified on the outside
pole with a 1st place finish in heat #1 and a 2nd place finish in
heat #2. The race on Friday night was filled with action as Tyler
had a half track lead on the field on lap #7 of the feature when
he brushed the wall coming out of turn four and he spun hitting
the wall at full speed, in excess of 60mph. The damage was severe
with a bent axle, carrier hanger bent and the bolts ripped out,
and the brake rotor was destroyed along with two rear tires. The
team from Rage went into action and rebuilt the rear axle and resetup
the kart in under an hour. Fast time for Tyler in the feature was
a blistering 9.19 seconds.

Tyler Strickland wins
both heat races and starts on the pole at the Columbus Indoors.
Tyler was atleast 4/10ths of a second faster than the field, but
in the second heat race the axle slid slightly and we adjusted the
kart slightly, when in fact we tightened the kart up and his times
slowed by 1/2 a second. Tyler drove the kart as well as he could
considering how tight it was and he finished a respectable second.
We are competing in the Columbus Indoors series for seat time and
to have fun. We have accomplished both.

Tyler Strickland qualifies

in the tank causing the motor not to perform in the turns and costing
Tyler a possible feature win.

Tyler Strickland finishes
2nd at the ARC Speedway Octoberfest event. With very little dirt
track experience Tyler was competitive and finished second. Tyler
experienced tire problems early and was unable to get in some good
practice sessions, but after several adjustments he was able to
run good in the feature. The feature race began around 1:00Am and
Tyler started fifth. The race began without the green flag being
dropped from the tower and Tyler dropped back a little on the first
lap. There was alot of banging in the turns and he was spun in turn
four on the fifth lap of the race......the spin did not bring out
the yellow, so Tyler was running almost a lap down. Thanks to a
yellow he returned to the end of the field and began hunting down
the leaders one kart at a time. By the time the final lap came around
he was securely in second and was challenging the leader. Tyler
finished second and was very pleased with his driving and performance.
Tyler's best lap was 15.77 seconds and the race winner's best lap
was 16.22 seconds. If we just had another lap or two Tyler may have
been able to pull off the win.

rear and the two went off the track. Tyler was moved to the last
position and once racing got back under way he raced passed the
field and was back on Wilson's bumper at the finish line. It was
a great effort and a strong finish to the season.

finihed 11th in the Junior Animal Champ Class at Lowe's Motorspeedway
in the Rage Karts Speedway Pavement Series race. Tyler's kart had
a horrible hop and was almost undriveable. The problem was traced
back to a double hub we were experimenting with and was changed
for Saturdays practice.

Kartington Speedway,
Tyler Strickland qualifies on the pole and is challenging
for the win on the last lap when he was involved in a wreck and
the finish reverted to the last completed lap. Tough to accept some
of the calls from the official in this event, but Tyler made some
great moves as he placed in the last position and ran down the leader
in just two laps. Great driving Tyler!

flips at full speed in the Junior Champ Heavy race at Beaverun.
Tyler's kart pushed him off the track in turn one on the second
lap of the race where he was catapolted approximately 12 feet into
the air end over end and smashed down on the asphalt. The race was
red flagged and Tyler emerged from the kart a little sore but not
injured. He said it was the wildest ride he has ever been on, and
several spectators said it was the worst flip they have seen. We
officialy finished 19th and totalled the kart.

runs up front and challenges for the win in Junior Champ Lite
at Beaverun. After a three and a half hour rain delay we lined up
by points and Tyler ran immediately up to second and battled back
and forth with Timmy Solomito for the lead. On the last lap Tyler
had been shuffled back to third and was making an aggressive pass
when he spun and was left in the infield and went from winning the
race to a fifteenth place finish. What great racing.

Tyler Strickland
qualified eleventh and finished the race in eighth place in Junior
Champ Heavy at Chapel Hill, New York. We had difficulty early in
the day with motor issues again. We changed back to our practice
motor and had a disappointing qualifcation run as the kart had a
four wheel slide out of turn four. Tyler held on and qualified eleventh.
During the feature race Tyler was hit from behind and knocked out
his right front toe about an inch. This made the car slower than
we would like, however Tyler was able to race from back of the field
up to eighth place. not where we wanted to finish, but satisfying
due to the condition of the kart.

Tyler finished third
at Barberton, and took a fifth and a second in the heat races. The
day was riddled with challenges as the kart was four wheel drifting
in turns three and four and the engine was running extra hot. During
the second heat race one of the drivers spun during the parade lap
and Tyle had no where to go except to hit the spun kart sideways
and totalled the right side panel. tyler went out to finish the
heat second despite the adversity at the start. He started the feature
fourth and was running second whent he engine went flat and he lost
some power earning him a third place finish.

Tyler qualifies finishes
fourth at Kartington after flipping his kart on lap number eight
when lapping a senior karter. The corner worker issued the blue
flag indicating a faster kart was approaching, however the senior
driver moved down and impacted Tyler's kart causing a big wreck
and Tyler barrel rolled down the side of the hill in turn two. By
the time they got to him, he had already pulled the kart back to
the track and was demanding his position back. He started back in
third and ran to the front in two laps, but the kart faded and he
finsihed fourth. He took a third and a second in the heat races.

Tyler qualified fourth
in Junior Champ Heavy and finished sixth. The kart was fast and
the motor ran strong, however on the second lap of the race there
was a bunch up on the re-start and his toe was knocked out about
1/2". The toe being out cause the kart to shimmy in the turns
excessively and Tyler had his hands full and his speed was reduce
due to the extra drag. Not a bad showing considering the adverse
handling.

Tyler qualifies third
in Junior Champ Lite and finishes the race in second. Tyler had
the fastest kart on the track and could haved passed the leader
at almost anytime. When Tyler did pass Tim Solomito also made the
pass with him and the two battled for the last two laps. Tyler was
on the outside and ran the final two laps running the high line
with the finish line approaching Solomito's kart pushed out pushing
Tyler off the track at the finish line and giving Solomito the win
by about a foot. Tyler was very happy with his performance and drove
very well in the race.

Tyler qualified 8th
in Junior Champ Heavy. Again today we had challenges as the head
bolt came out in qualifying resulting in lose of compression and
took us from a probable top 4 qualifying round back to 8th. In the
race Tyler was challenging for the top three after having sustained
damage to his right rear creating a real serious push. He went off
course with three to go and was shuffled back from 3rd to 9th, which
is where he finished.
